John Gery and Erma Blatt spent an evening at Red Hill, visiting Lizzie Gregory, who was hurt in an automobile accident last week. Mr. and Mrs. Grover Kramlich and Charles Hess were the guests of Mr. Kramlich's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Kramlich, at Dryville. Leroy Dllllnplalne, who was em ployed at Landis Store the past two years, returned home to bis mother, Alice Dillinplaine. . Mr. and Mrs. Grover Kramlich, Erma Blatt and Charles Hess enjoyed an auto ride to Birdsboro. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Moser and Gertie Moser, of Boyertown; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Stannic and children Annie, Mamie and Fannie, of New Berlins-vule; Mr. and Mrs. George Long, Clarence Rauch, Mr. and Mrs. Jonathan Roarbach, Mrs. Heffner and Mrs: David Roarbach, of Topton, visited John Strunk and family. Mr. and Mrs. George Gregory and son Webster visited in Reading. Grover Kramlich is employed by the government to renter war veterans buried on the three cemeteries at Huffs Church. Mrs. A. M. Trollinger spent a day at Hereford visiting her grandson. Curtis Trollinger. Grover Kramlich made a trip to Reading.

Strunk and Lloyd Trollinger made a business trip to Friedensburg on Monday. Mr. and Mrs. James Trollinger and son, Elmer, and Elsie Gregory and Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Siesholts and children and Mr. and Mrs. George Pierce, all of Allentown, celebrated Mrs. Howard Gregory's forty-sixth birthday on Sunday. Thomas Long moved from Hereford to his son. George Long, at this place, on Monday, John Baus started crushing stone for the road between the Howard Mest and William Bertsch farms.

News of the death of Horace Trollinger which occurred last Friday morning at his home at Oklahoma City was received here shortly after its occurrence Mr Trollinger and family formerly lived at this place and the many friends of the family heard of his death with sorrow His death was the result of pneumonia from which he suffered but a few days The funeral and interment occurred in Oklahoma City the following day the interment being under the auspices of the Masonic Lodge Mr. Trollinger was a member of the Marietta Lodge and at the request of this lodge the Masonic Lodge of Oklahoma City conducted the services at the grave

Biographical Info

Richard Trollinger, who joined Centre in 1994, has more than thirty years of experience in college advancement work. Having retired in 2016 after more than two decades as the College’s chief development officer, he now serves in a part-time capacity as senior philanthropy advisor.

He holds a M.Ed. degree from Vanderbilt University in higher education administration and an M.A. degree from Indiana University in philanthropic studies, and a Ph D. in educational policy studies. He and his wife, Patsi, have twin daughters, Mary and Elizabeth.
