Jane Trollinger Becomes Bride at Pretty Ceremony Before a large assemblage of friends and relatives Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock Miss Jane Arline Trollinger. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Trollinger, 313 North Evans street, became the bride of Mr. Paul D Ammon Jr.. son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul D. Ammon. 462 North York street, in Trinity Reformed church. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. John B. Frantz, pasto*, before an altar banked with white snapdragons, white begonias, ferns, and palms, Prior to the ceremony a half hour recital of bridal music was presented by Mrs. Minnie Brendlinger Lehr. She was assisted by Mrs. Harold Buhman. vocalist, who sang, *‘I Love You Truly,’’ “I Love You,-’ and •‘Because.” Given in marriage by her father, the bride was lovely In a gown of traditional white satin, fashioned with a fitted bodice, high neckline with a scalloped yoke of marquisette, and a full skirt ending in a wide graceful train. Her finger tip veil was attached to a tiara of orange blossoms and her bouquet was a cascade of lilies. Matron of honor was Mrs. Joseph Forrest, sister of the bride and maid of honor was Miss Constance Chaplin. Bridesmaids were Miss Yvonne Trollinger, cousin of the bride, Mrs. John Wanger Jr., Miss Betty Saylor, cousin of the bridegroom, and Mrs. N. C. Reynier Jr. A niece of the bride. Miss Susan Forrest, attended as flower girl. Mrs. Forrest wore yellow taffeta, the model featuring a high neckline fitted bodice, cap sleeves and full skirt with peplum effect. Her headdress of flowers matched her shower bouquet of iris. Miss Chaplin wore coral taffeta and the bridesmaids were attired in aqua gowns, all styled like the matron of honors. They wore headdresses and carried bouquets of daffodils and acacia. Miss Forrest wore the same as the matron of honor arid her headdress and bouquet were matching. Mr. Elmer Pollock served as best man while the ushers were Messrs Benjamin Bradley, Robert Groom. Joseph Forrest, brother-in-law of the bride. Warren Egolf, cousin of the bride, and Richard Eppehimer. Mrs. Trollinger, mother of the bride, wore a lime colored dress with hat to match and brown accessories. She wore a corsage of cymbisums. Mrs. Ammon, mother of the bridegroom, was attired in navy blue and she wore a corsage of gardenias. Following a reception which was held in the church, the couple left on a wedding trip to New' York and upon their return they will reside it, 23 North Hanover street. For traveling the bride chose a chartreuse suit with brown accessories and a brown orchid corsage.

Mrs. Jane Trollinger died at her home in Cassville, last Monday, and the remains were brought to this place Tuesday and laid to rest in the city cemetery beside her husband, James M. Trollinger, who died in 1874. Mrs. Trollinger was 82 years of sge. She and ber husband lived in Mt. Vernon from 1854 to 1858. For the last thirty years she had lived at Verona, Verona, removing to Cassville three months ago. She is survived by four sons, all of whom were here last Tuesday: Thomas, William, George and Samuel Trollinger.

SALEM - Kenneth (Kenney) Miklaucic passed away at the age of 71, due to Heart Failure on Octo- ber 31, 2018 in Kansas City, MO. Kenney was born on May 22, 1947 in Whittier, CA to Charles “Ray” Miklaucic and Nellie (Prater) Miklaucic. He was raised in California, and graduated in 1965 from Warren High School. Kenney was preceded in death by his father Charles Ray, his brother Bradlee Miklaucic, and his daughter Kimberly Miklaucic-Herrera. He is sur- vived by his loving wife of 50 years Ruth (Walrath) Miklaucic, son Scott Miklaucic of Salem, daughter Holley Trollinger (Mark) of Newberg, OR, Mother Nellie Jane Miklaucic of Bishop, CA, brothers Charles Ray Miklaucic, Jr. of Bishop, CA and Michael Miklaucic of Downey, CA; eight grandchildren — Tiana, Tabatha, Mateo, Andrea, Rebecca, Rachel, Rylee and Renee; and great granddaughter Kimberly. He is also survived by loving in-laws: Dotti Porter, Nancy Campbell, Brad Smith (Bev), Lee Hymer (Mary) and close friends: Ken and Anne Chapman, Hans and Karin Reith, Coleen and Albert Elser, Larry and Robin Tucker, Al and Arcena Tocchini, Judy Johnson and many more who were fortunate to make his acquaintance. Kenney served in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1968, including service in Viet Nam. He worked for 23 years in Downey CA as a Meat Cutter, and many years in Salem OR as Automotive and Electronics Department Managers at K-Mart in Salem, OR. Kenney was a devoted member of Trinity Covenant and Salem Heights churches in Salem, and of American Legion. He was an avid collector of Coca-Cola memorabilia, old and fast cars; and he loved to play “Hand & Foot” card game and Bunco dice game with his friends. Kenney might best be remembered for his participation and leadership in the annual “Walk for March of Dimes” during his years at K-Mart, for his love of cooking, and for his kind and friendly personality, and deep devotion to his family, friends and his Lord. Though very ill, Kenney got his last wish of travelling across the U.S. with his wife Ruth and friends Ken and Anne Chapman.He was able to visit Yellowstone, Mt. Rushmore, Niagara Falls, Cooperstown Baseball Hall of Fame, the Statue of Liberty, and spent much of the trip in hospitals. He ended his journey, certainly reaching his final home - “Heaven”. Services are to be held at Salem Heights Church on Saturday, December 1, 2018, beginning at 1:30 PM. Donations in place of flowers may be made in his memory to “The March of Dimes.” Kenneth Wayne Miklaucic

Kornegay - Cozort Couple Plans November Wedding Mr. and Mrs. Horace Robinson Kornegay of Bethesda, Md., formerly of Greensboro, announce the engagement of their daughter, Kathryn Elder of Raleigh, to Jack Lowell Cozort of Raleigh, son of Mr. and Mrs. Stuart Lee Cozort of Morganton. Miss Kornegay is a 1976 graduate of Wake Forest University with a major in sociology. She was a member of S.O.P.H. Society and studied in Italy her junior year. She represented North Carolina as the Cherry Blossom Princess in the 1974 National Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington, D.C., and she is currently on the staff of Governor James B. Hunt Jr. Mr. Cozort was graduated with honors from North Carolina State University in 1972 with a B.A. in political science. He was editor of the student newspaper, "The Technician," and was a North Carolina Fellow. In 1972 he was selected the Most Outstanding Senior in Liberal Arts. In 1975 he was graduated from Wake Forest University School of Law and is now legal counsel to Governor James B. Hunt Jr. He was formerly an associate attorney general in the N.C. Department of Justice. The couple will be married on November 12 at West Market Street United Methodist Church in Greensboro. Miss Kathryn Kornegay
