49261 This son was may well have been stillborn given he is not buried with a name and given his death date of 1834 he may have been their first born child as they were married in 1833.  Bonebrake, Unknown (I39206)

49262 This son was very likely born stillborn which might explain no name on his headstone. If so and because of his death date of 1838 he would have been born between Nathaniel and Peter.  Bonebrake, Unknown (I39210)

49263 This source should be used as a general guideline rather than a valid source as the scholarship of the contributer is unknown. A valid source would be a marriage entry in a county courthouse, family bible record, church record, etc. Family: William Bedford Westerman, Sr. / Margaret Trolinger (F529)

49264 This was a puzzle for me for a number of years. I worked on the New York Drollingers for a long time without making the Atlantic bridge. There were several in the civil war but none had descendants. I coresponded with a woman in CA that was down from John Henry "Rosie" that had found that same census entry. When I went to Germany in 2000 I got to finally go to the church in Dietlingen where I looked for Thomas. Since I didn't find him there and the census entry read Bavaria I thought he was part of Eugen Drollinger the architect's line (did work for Ludwig on his castles). He had a pension file from the civil war but no children listed. One of his children, Gustave, had a Theobald listed as the father in the census. It was the birth/baptism of his daughter, Elise, that gave me the final clue as it listed her father as Tobias. So yes, Thomas, Theobald and Tobias are the same person. My thinking is the census taker garbled the name when he wrote it down. Which may cause a lot of unnessary confusion on future researchers.

It was an awe inspiring moment when I held the Dietlingen Church book in my hands and looking at the begining date realized I was holding a four hundred year old book. I was not able to examine this book in 1982 to 1985 due to illness of the Pastor.

49284 Thomas D Trullinger, 76, of Dauphin, passed away on Sunday July 30, 2023 in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his family.

Born January 20, 1947, in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late James Trullinger and Mary (Fuhrman) Steiner. On May 3, 1974, at Hope Presbyterian Church, in Dauphin, Tom married Diane M. (Wilson) Trullinger with whom he shared a devoted union of 47 years prior to her passing on May 4, 2021.

A 1967 graduate of Central Dauphin East High School, Tom had worked in railroading for 43 years - initially starting with the Pennsylvania Railroad and retiring from Norfolk Southern. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed canoeing, hiking, hunting and bike riding as well as tending to lawn and home. Tom also enjoyed history, particularly the Revolutionary and Civil War periods and frequent trips to Gettysburg - all of which either began or ended (or occasionally both) at the Dobbin House Tavern. He was a member of Clarks Valley Zion Evangelical Congregational Church.

Tom is survived by his son, Jamie L. Trullinger and his wife Gwen, of Dauphin and two daughters, Jessica E. Trullinger-Fickes and husband Doug Fickes, of Mt Holly Springs, and Tara M. Trullinger and her fiancé Gregory Trahan, of Harrisburg. He is also survived by a sister, Richelle Price and her husband Lynn, of Barnsdall, OK and his faithful canine companion, Brady. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Georgianna Trullinger and two brothers, Richard and Donald Sellers.

His arrangements and interment in Friends Cemetery, Halfmoon Township, Centre County, will be at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38015 or at www.stjude.org.
