58635 | www.legacy.com/obituaries (Obit photo of Marybelle) Marybelle D. (Miller) Pritchard (1924 - 2012) Visit Guest Book On January 15th, 1924, born to Louis and Jennie Miller of Oakland, CA. God breathed His spirit into a small baby girl who was given the name Marybelle. After 88 years and 44 days, on February 28th, 2012, He took that breath away, and now she sleeps and waits. But one day, and may it be soon, He will give it back, at the Glorious Resurrection and the coming of the King of kings. This is the promise that Marybelle lived by and is all our hope, that we too will be raised up, just as He was to new life. Marybelle married George Howard Drollinger December 24th, 1942, and had two children, Larry Howard and Sharon Louise. When her husband was killed in a fishing accident, she was left alone with two young children. In early 1952, she met Robert E. Pritchard at a Bible College in Ottumwa, Iowa and on August 21st they were married on the Pritchard estate in Acampo, CA. Their union produced one son. Faithful to his vows, Robert cared for his wife in her final years as illness took its toll and was privileged to be by her side as her spirit departed back to God from whence it came. Marybelle was herself an excellent caregiver and enjoyed a career as a practical nurse, and a second career as a live in caregiver several years before finally retiring in 1990. She enjoyed hobbies of flower arranging, amateur photography and was a talented song writer. She enjoyed playing her organ and writing poetry. A resident of Acampo, CA for the last 31 years, Marybelle is survived by her loving caregiver and husband of 59 and 1/2 years, Robert E. Pritchard; a sister, Donna (Miller) McCoy and her husband Clarence McCoy of Bend OR; her three children, Larry Drollinger, Sharon(Drollinger) Nelson and her husband Brian K. Nelson, of Klamath Falls, OR, and Dea Pritchard and his wife Cherie, of Stockton, CA, as well as two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Lodi Funeral Home on Saturday and Sunday, March 3rd and 4th, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. A graveside service for family and friends will be held Monday, March 5th, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. Lodi Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
