SISTER:
Mrs. Sarah Scott who died Thursday night at the home of her son, Austin Huffman in Lowden, WN., was buried Sunday afternoon at the Pilot Rock Cemetery. She was the daughter of William Knott and Martha (Haynie) Knott
She married John M. Huffman on 7 Jul 1857. He passed away sometime before 1880, leaving Sarah with five sons.
She later married James Walter Scott a neighbor, on 27 Sep 1880. James and Sarah had one son together.
Mrs. Scott was a sister of Perry Knott, and for a number of years, she made her home in Pilot Rock.
Her funeral was held at the community church at 2:30. Rev. Curry Love, local pastor officiated.
