- Betty L. "Bonnie" Clawson, 53, of Veedersburg, died at 6:40 a.m. Friday (May 24, 2002) at St. Vincent's Hospice Center, Indianapolis.
She was born in Bismarck on March 24, 1939, to Clarence and Edith Meeker Drollinger. She was married on March 13, 1959, in Sterling, Ind., to Robert Clawson. He survives.
She is also survived by three daughters, Brenda (Jerry) Campbell of Veedersburg, Sue Ann (John) Anderson of Covington and Tina (Kurt) Abernathy of St. Cloud, Florida.; three sisters, Beverly (Carl) Butts of Veedersburg, Margaret Woodard of Catlin, Ill., and Mary Lou (Dane) Darr of Fairmount, Ill.; a brother, Harold Rosie Drollinger of Kingman, and four grandchildren.
Mrs. Clawson worked for Illinois Bell and as a receptionist for O.E. Sutter Insurance Agency in Veedersburg. She was a homemaker and enjoyed helping her husband with the farming. She loved arts and crafts. She was a member of the Veedersburg Christian Church.
