James "Jimmy" H. Hughes, 52, of Muncie, IN died Friday February 2, 2007 at 10:12 p.m. at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. He was born on March 6, 1954 the son of Bill and Betty (Graley) Hughes. On October 31, 2006 in West Virginia he married Kay (Wilkinson) Hughes whom survives.
James worked at Borg-Warner for several years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Muncie. He enjoyed spending time four wheeling in West Virginia.
Surviving relatives include his wife Kay Hughes of Muncie; mother, Betty Bailey (husband: Fred) of Eaton, IN; one daughter, Melissa Rumfelt (husband: Gary) of Muncie; two sons, James Hughes (wife: LeAnn) of Muncie; Joey Hughes of Muncie; two step-daughters, Christie Drollinger (husband: Chris) of Muncie; Brandi Collins of Muncie; two step-sons, Frank Brindle of Muncie; Michael Collins of Albany, IN; two sisters, Pat Brown (wife: Ronnie) of Yorktown; Susan Reynolds of Muncie; one brother, Gary Hughes of Eaton; six grandchildren, Dakin and Devon Rumfelt; Jamie Davis; Dillon Brindle; Nicolas and Sierra Drollinger. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, one brother, Ronnie Hughes, and two granddaughters, Marissa Hughes and Kasey Drollinger.
Services are scheduled for 11 a.m. on Wednesday February 7, 2007 at the Garden View Funeral Home 10501 North State Road 3 Muncie, IN. Pastor Michael Graley will offficate the service.
