  	An Old Lady Passes Away. The death of Mrs. Margaret Doobar, (formerly Trullinger), which occurred this morning at her residence, No. 827 South Front street, removes from the ranks of the living one of the oldest residents of the city. She was a lite-long[sic] and consistent member of the First Lutheran church. Deceased was a sister of George, William and John Trullinger. She was troubled with dropsy. Yesterday crysipelas set in and to-day[sic] at 10 o'clock she unexpectedly expired. Her age was 67 years and six months. [Transcribed] Harrisburg Telegraph, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Saturday, January 02, 1886 Her previous (prior to the discovery of her death notice) death date was given as '14 Jun 1886'. However, that date had NO source citation associated with it and appears to have been in error as her death notice clearly states her death as the morning of Saturday, January 02, 1886.

  Ref her mother's last will and testament in her mother's record. Margaret is referred to as 'Margaret Trullinger'. Item I give and bequeath to my two daughters Margaret and Isabella Trullinger the house and one half of the lot of ground on which I now reside with all the furniture bedding left in said house except in one bed room over the entry Margaret is identified as Margaret Doobar, formerly Trullinger, in her death notice. Margaret's grave marker inscription reads, "In memory of Margaret Drollinger". It is also unclear why she is identified as 'Margaret Drollinger' on her grave marker instead of her married name of 'Margaret Doobar' as she is identified in her death notice. We know Peter Drollinger of Franconia (now Philadelphia) spelled his name as Drollinger. His son Andreas or Andrew was a Drollinger who was variously was recorded as Trollinger and signed his name to the probate of Peter record as Trollinger. His marriage record was as Drollinger. Andrew's children found in the records of St Michael's Evangelical Luthern Church Germantown (also now part of Philadelphia) went to spelling the surname drollinger, Trollinger and Trullinger.
