attached is a photo of the land the Cather's homesteaded (Howard B Cather). Dad was born in this house. That is Dad and his older sister Imogene in the front yard. Dad has two brothers: Howard and Bob. The family still owes the land.
My parents met at the University of Nebraska. I believe they were married in Lincoln. Dad parents lived in Lincoln all their lives after Wyoming. My father was a colonel in the air force and was base commander in Salina Kansas till about 1953-4.
Mom's second husband Edmond? Steeves went to U of NE as well. Worked at General Motors. He was not born in Nebraska tho he always claimed to be a cornhusker. I cannot remember where he was born, maybe Kansas.
Don McKay was married to Mimi when they lived in Massachusetts - around Boston I think.
They had two children, Sally and Bruce. I believe they live in California.
Don's second wife was Ann, no children
