      Funeral of Pioneer
      Funeral services for Francis E. Winchester, a pioneer resident of the Pacific Coast, who died at the home of his son, Earl R. Winchester, 1122 Columbia Street last Friday, will be held from the undertaking parlors of Butterworth & Sons this afternoon at 4 o'clock. Mr. Winchester crossed the plains with an ox team from St. Louis to Sacramento in 1852 and later moved to Walla Walla, where he established the first photograph gallery at that place. He is survived by two sons, Earl Winchester of this city, and Ernest Winchester of Spokane.

      Winchester Funeral Today
      The funeral of Francis E. Winchester, aged 83 years, a pioneer of the Pacific Coast, will be held this afternoon at 4 o'clock from Butterworth's. The body will later be shipped to Spokane for interment. Mr. Winchester first came to the coast in 1852 from St. Louis. He is survived by two sons, Earl, of Seattle, and Ernest, of Spokane.
