  	Funeral Services For Mrs. LESTER Were Held Sunday Funeral services for Mrs. Hallie LESTER, pioneer resident, was held Sunday, May 19, at the Root Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. John COX officiating. Burial was in the Steamboat cemetery. Mrs. LESTER died at her home near Clark last Thursday. Hallie Trullinger LESTER was born June 23, 1890 at Columbus, Nebraska. She came to Routt County at the age of ten with her father, Van TRULLINGER, and mother, Emma TRULLINGER, in a covered wagon. She walked most of the way over the mountains as the wagon was heavily loaded. The family homesteaded near Clark, Colorado. Mrs. LESTER's father was the first pioneer to make a cut over Rabbit Ears Pass with a grader and six head of horses thereby opening a road for freighting and travel purposes to Routt County. Mrs. LESTER attended the Clark School and lived in the community all her life. She enjoyed ranch life and loved gardening and beautiful flowers, and seldom left the ranch at any time during her life. Mrs. LESTER left surviving her, Harry LESTER, husband, of Clark; four children, Hallie CAMPBELL of Conifer, Colorado; Thelma MORGAN of Roseburg, Oregon; Luther L. LESTER of Aurora, Colorado and Alfred LESTER of Clark and also two sisters, Myrtle COURTRIGHT of Odgen, Utah and Anna FOLDEN of Loveland, Colorado. It should have read 1889 which is her birth year as inscribed on her headstone.
