A native of Orange County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Albert and Mattie Stanford Massey and wife of the late Roney Hamilton Faucette. She was a retired employee of Kayser-Roth Hosiery and a charter member of Edgewood Baptist Church. Survivors include her son, Lowell C. Faucette and wife Della; daughter, Sharon Smith and husband David all of Burlington; grandchildren, Andrew Faucette and wife Kim, Bradley Faucette and John Coates and Mattie Anne Smith all of Burlington, Erin Faucette of Charlotte; great grandchildren Kennedy and Davis Faucette; brother, Earl Massey and wife Emily of Greensboro and David Massey of Burlington. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; siblings, Bernice Massey, Ruby Pender, Mildred Gregory, Trenis Hembree, Frances Graves; grandson, Nicholas Smith. Funeral services will be held at 4:00pm Friday, August 15, 2014 in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Walter Jones and Rev. Darrell Moser. Interment will follow in Hawfields Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Mrs. Faucette will remain at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory through the funeral service. The family will receive friends at Lowe Funeral Home from 2:30-3:45pm Friday, prior to the service. At other times the family will be at the home of the daughter, Sharon and David Smith; 515 W.
