- Geraldine K. Finders-Bohl, 87, of Hermann passed away Saturday, August 28th, 2010 at Frene Valley Health Center, in Hermann.
Mrs. Finders-Bohl was born in Rhineland, Missouri on May 1, 1923, the daughter of the late Hugo and Selma (Theissen) Elsenrath.
She was a school teacher for thirty plus years, where she starting teaching at Tavern Hill one room school, she also taught at Bluffton, Big Springs, Hermann Public Schools and she ended her teaching at the St. George School in Hermann.
Geraldine was married to Vernon Robert Finders who passed away April 27, 1971. On December 27, 1985 she married Edwin C. Bohl who survives her.
She was a member of St. George Church of Hermann, Hermann V.F.W. Post 4182 Ladies Auxiliary, and the Hermann Wurst Jaegers Dance Group.
She is survived by her husband Edwin C. Bohl of Hermann, her son Kirby Finders and wife Elizabeth (Betty) of Jefferson City, by four daughters, Carolyn LaBoube and husband Gary of Hermann, Marilyn Kelsey and husband Charles of Hermann, Janet Murphy and husband Jim of Hermann and Kathryn Duncan and husband Louis of Chamois, by two sisters Marjorie Daniels of St. Louis and Kathleen Carroll of St. Charles.
She is preceded in death by her first husband Vernon Robert Finders, her parents and one brother Kenneth Elsenrath.
Funeral Services will be held at St. George Church, Hermann, Missouri at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 30th, with Father Bill Debo officiating.
Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home ,Hermann, Missouri.
Interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery Rhineland, Missouri.
