Her memberships included Waveland Covenant United Methodist Church and Women's Department Club. She attended Veedersburg Schools. She was born March 13, 1914, at Linden, to Charles S. and Dela C. Mortimore Brimbury. She married Clair Smith on Aug. 12, 1935, at Anderson. He died in 1973. Survivors include two sons, Robert Clair, Veedersburg, and Ramond Joe, Newburg, Ind.; a sister, Alberta Collum, Mecca; six grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and four stepgreat-grandchildren. Two children, one brother, one sister and one grandchild are desceased. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday in Machledt & Servies Funeral Home, 301 E. Green St., Waveland, with the Rev. Velma Keesling officiating. Burial will be in Hicks Cemetery, Perrysville. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
