- Ruth Ellen (Jenks) McNeely, 68, died Friday, Dec. 27, 2002, at University Heights Health and Living Community. She was a resident of Greenwood.
She was born June 26, 1934, in Terre Haute. Her parents were Raymond Jenks and Hazel (Ryan) Jenks-Hanmore. She married Tony E. McNeely Sr. on July 28, 1959, in Indianapolis. He preceded her in death Aug. 8, 1988. Survivors include a daughter, Donna McNeely of Greenwood; four sons, Ronald E. and Terry D. McNeely, both of Greenwood, and Tony E. McNeely Jr. and Michael L. McNeely, both of Tennessee; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She attended Ben Davis High School.
She was a homemaker and a member of Order of the Eastern Star 393 in Indianapolis.
Elder Harold Beaty will conduct a service at 11 a.m. Monday at Vandivier-Tudor Bargersville Chapel. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until time of service Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Indianapolis.
