Funeral services for Leroy (Roy) Brink prominent Atchison sportsman, wil be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Stanton Chapel, Elder Don Tacy officiating. Burial will be in the Lancaster cemetery. The family is receiving friends tonight from 7 to 8 at the Stanton Mortuary. Norman Ellis, George Gerardy, A. E. (Sharkey) Charbonneau, Don Wolfe, John Faught and John Gering will be the active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Clem Tuggle, Ed White and William Matzeder. Mr. Brink, 73 died Monday night as the result of a heart attack He was a lifetime Atchison resident.

Funeral services for Leroy (Roy) Brink were largely attended this afternoon at the Stanton Chapel, Elder Don Tacy officiating. Burial was in the Lancaster cemetery. Mr. Brink, 73, a leading sportsman died unexpectedly of a heart attack Monday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Roy Brink will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary Sunday, Sept. 29, with open house at their home, 1428 Atchison street, from two until four p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Roy Brink and Bertha Sumner were united in marriage Oct. 2, 1924 at the home of the brides's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harlo J. Sumner, of the Farmington community, by Elder William Bolinger.
They are the parents of one daughter, Mrs. Clinton (Lila) McCullough, Lancaster, and have three grandchildren; Roy McCullough, Mrs. John (Joyce) Tull and Mrs. Ed (Vicky) Amrein, Ottawa, and two great grandchildren; Michael Leroy McCullough and Christy Renee Tull.
Mr. Brink, a life long resident of Atchison, is a retired carpenter and former superintendent for F.P. Gehring, Atchison contractor."
