  	Feb. 21, 1922-Nov. 8, 2009 BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- Grace Silvers died Sunday. A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Southern Heritage Cemetery in Pelham, Ala. She was born in Chapel Hill Feb. 21, 1922. She was the daughter of Charles Pickard and Cora Wiley Pickard and the wife of the late Dr. Jack Silvers. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a major in accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Beta Gamma Sigma national honorary societies and was also a member of the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants. She is survived by a daughter, Susan M. Silvers of Hoover, Ala. Published in Obituaries on November 10, 2009, Goldsboro News-Argus
