She was a charter member of Southport Christian Church and Daughters of American Revolution. Her survivors are sister Inez Shuck of Fishers; brother Sanford Bowers of Greenwood and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Richard, Herman and Joseph Bowers.
Services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 31 at Single ton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center. Private entombment at Washington Park East Cemetery.
