- PERRYTON - Glee R. BALLARD, 76, died Monday, November 24, 1997.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in First Christian Church with the Rev. Frank Springer officiating. Burial will be in Ochiltree Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.
Mrs. BALLARD was born in Helena, Oklahoma, and had lived in the Perryton area for 51 years. She was a secretary at First National Bank, where she had worked for more than 25 years.
She married Monroe BALLARD in 1940 at Cherokee, Oklahoma. He died in 1995.
Mrs. BALLARD was a member of First Christian Church and the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include two daughters, Dana ANDERSON of Borger and Jana HAMS of Grand Junction, Colorado; a son, Darrel BALLARD of San Antonio; a sister, Paula WHEATLEY of Fountain, Colorado; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The family requests memorials be to the First Christian Church piano fund, P.O. Box 1244, Perryton, Texas 79070.
