Notes - From an obituary in the Oregonian, January 1915:
"Oregon Pioneer to Be Buried --
Funeral services of Harbison B. Morgan, a pioneer who died Wednesday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. F.E. Bishop, East Forty-third Street North, will be held today at 10:30 from Ericson's chapel. The interment will be in Lone Fir Cemetery in the family plot. Mr. Morgan was born in Illinois October 1, 1834, and crossed the plains to Oregon in 1852, first settling in Yamhill County. He served in the Indian war of 1855 and 1856 as sergeant under Captain Ankeny. He married Elizabeth Ellen Trullinger, when they moved to Washington County, where he served as sheriff for eight years. Morgan has lived in Portland for the past 20 years. He is survived by the following children: Hartley Morgan, Mrs. A. W. Moore, Mrs. L. F. Boscow and Mrs. F. E. Bishop, of Portland."
