  	Edwin Buelow, 82, of Waco, passed away, Sunday, Dec. 26, 2010, at a local hospital. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29, at Waco Memorial Park with Bro. Ivan Kerr. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, at Grace Gardens Funeral Home. Edwin was born in Waco, Texas. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1944, making a career out of his service in the Navy and retiring after 20 years. He and his wife, Betty, raised five children. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Betty Jean Buelow on Jan. 17, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Kay; daughters, Deborah Collister and her husband, Guy, Marie Thayer and her husband, Jeff, and Patricia Crouch and her husband, James; sons, Jerry Buelow and Mark Buelow; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; other relatives; two special friends of the family, Taffie Behringer and Julie Sherman; and many other friends.
