- Gary Wayne Dunkin was born on May 10, 1957 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Harvey and Margaret Dunkin. He passed away on November 18, 2023 at the age of 66 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Margaret Dunkin. He is survived by his loving wife, Tina (Trolinger) Dunkin of the home; one brother, Donnie Dunkin of El Reno, Oklahoma, one sister, Marsha Honeycutt of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and lots of wonderful and beautiful nieces and nephews.
Gary grew up in South Oklahoma City and graduated from U.S. Grant High School in 1976
He and Tina were married on March 1, 1987 and enjoyed a wonderful life together for 36 years. Gary loved his family and friends. He also loved to snow ski, loved racing horses and his dogs, Emma and Halo. He worked as a plumber for twenty-six years.
The funeral service will be under the direction of the Resthaven Funeral Home at 500 S.W. 104th Street in Oklahoma City at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, November 24, 2023, with burial at the Resthaven Cemetery, adjacent to the funeral home. Viewing will be any time the same day prior to the service.
